Is there a list of good causes (non-profit making) out there which rely on -- and welcome -- tier donations?

I recently saw some "save svarga(sp)" campaign.

There probably is a list out somewhere........ I don`t have it.

Feel free to donate to the jesseaitui petion foundation, though :)

I know The Shelter - which helps newbies - was looking for tier donations a while back. I gave my 512m tier allotment to The Shelter, I think it's a great in-world cause.

As for real life charities, I know they have drives now and then, not sure if there are some permanent ones that could use tier to offset costs?

I give my tier as a donation to The Shelter. If you wish to do this also you should contact the management and ask what the situation is.

Thanks guys. If Carl gets back to me with the instructions/procedure (if I get a group invite, I know how to do the rest) I'm hoping to donate six months of 512m2 tier to New Citizens Plaza. It's not much I know, but I figured any donation (however small) offers _some_ security to the relevant organisation, should any tier be withdrawn. And erm...I feel guilty sitting on it. ;)

After discussing tier donations with friends, in transpires three of them bought annual premium accounts when they first joined only to end up on renting/buying (whatever you want to call it) on private estates. They have many months of 512 tier left too, and I figured a list of worthy causes might actually make them feel like donating.

By the way...if I have this number of friends sitting on unused 512 tier, how many more people out there are doing the same?

I'm partial to the Arbor Project: they're about keeping small parcels safe from land griefers. if you ever need to unload a little land, they're a good place to give it to.
