Hi there everyone.

I've been playing this game non-stop for, uh, 8 days now. (RL boyfriend starting to get upset. Anyway...) I signed up with a free account and about an hour later signed up with a premium.

I did almost everything in my first 5 days on the grid, I spent a lot of L$, then got smart and shopped and found places to get everything I wanted for free or next to it (including flexi hair ahahhaahahaha! XD ), I met people from across the world and near the same part of the world as me, I found a place to have sex with a horse (O_o!!) found out beastiality isn't for me, bought a plot of land for ridiculous price in a fairly stable neighbourhood, bought a cheap house and planted virtual trees. The last 3 days I went job hunting. I didn't look very hard but most of the jobs I wanted that didn't include cyber sex (I'm a prude apparently) would include me being more than oh 8 days old.

SOOOOO... I went camping.

Interestingly enough I've been really lucky in this one place with that spinning exploder ball and my premium account has made about $L600 and my free account $L800.

I calculated that out to about $4.90 US. That's a chunk of change, even if that's a really lucky streak. WHICH BRINGS ME TO MY QUESTIONS.

If I convert my L$ back to US and stick them in my account will they charge my premium account quarterly or yearly out of there instead of my credit card? (This is what I want to do, not make money, just break even on doing something for in game money so my SL experience from now on is "free" ish!)

And my second question is how much does it cost to take USD converted from L$ out of my account and say, put it onto my credit card? I read somewhere it could cost as much as 15 US to get money out of the account? What is the best method to get money out of the account? I don't intend to ever take US money earned from camping out of my account, this is just for future reference. Thanks so much! :)

If you convert the lindens to USD and stick them in your account, all fees payable to LL will first be taken from your account's USD balance.

As for fees, yes it costs $15USD for an international check to be sent out to your residence. If you reside in the USA, this fee is only $10. You may find it a better option to do the transaction through PayPal where the fee is only $1.
