I'm trying to compile a list of places inworld that are appropriate for those who roleplay as families. Mother, father and child.
No, this has NOTHING whatsoever to do with ageplay or kiddie sex. Nothing. I want nothing to do with that crap.
However, there are some who enjoy the aspect of family rp. So i want to find as many places as i can that would attract a family.
If you know of, or run a place that you think would be a place a family would spend time at, please send me a LM and a brief description in a notecard. Once I have this list as complete as I can I will distribute it inworld to as many people as I can.
Please only send LM's to family oriented places. No sex, no casino's none of that.
Thank you.

Go-Go Mini-Racing. Go Carts racing and other car based entertainment (bumper cars?) Dreams of an Arcade and snackbar in addition to a small shop (free racing during construction) Motorati (217, 225, 39)
Motorati is one of 6 sims owned by Pontiac. Land grants were given to SL residents who submitted proposals for Car themed attractions. Race tracks, car sales, entertainment and more... even a drive in movie theatre. All 6 sims are rated PG. Kind of quiet at the momnet (given that we're all still building our attractions) but come on down and check it out!

From: Rochelle LaFollette I'm trying to compile a list of places inworld that are appropriate for those who roleplay as families. Mother, father and child. A topic close to my heart! First off, stop at the SLC Youth Center in Maryport, and get their resource lists (see the art show there right now, too!). There are tons of places there. Each of the below should be searchable: my LMs are online, an logins are off right now. Any Neo-Realms fishing place (Alston, Hearts Enchanted, and Samauri Isle) is family friendly. Me and my brother go to those a lot, and there's other kids there too. Walden is a nice spot, though I usedta like it more. HardKnock Elementary in Tu Amor is a great RP place for kids, but doesn't have as much (yet) for their parents. Nakama, especially Kawaii Ku, is kid friendly. Famiglia Hideaway has a great park for families. It's owned by my great great gramma. Inner Child Depot is a kids' mall, but it also has rides and stuff out front, too. It's in Fletcher Tiny Tykes Circus is also fun, with rides and stuff. I think it's in Moolbora. DaddyChris' Day Care is good for younger kids. Toddlers and such. I'm blanking on the sim name, but it should be searchable. Winterland in Del Aqua is a great, kid-friendly winter-themed area. It may or may not still exist. Lost Girls Playground in Satebeyul (sp.?) is a fun little playground for kids, mostly younger ones. Robin (Sojourner) Wood has a great little ice skating rink behind her store right now. You'll find it in Daikouku, though search might show it in Benten There are tons of other places, too. Again, grab the resource lists at the SLC Youth Activity Center for more. Also - if you have a home, make some of your RPing revolve around it. make a small play yard, with seating for adults, or make sure to have chairs and toys for kids around your pool/dance floor/whatever. Stuff so the kids can be involved. Oh yes, and of course a room of their own where they might get tucked in at night. It's a big part of this kid's time on SL. If you need any more tips or LMs or whatever, feel free to IM me in-world. Mari

Feel free to come visit our land in Kishijoten... I don't have the coordinates, since I'm not in world right now, but it's the only forest in that sim. We have a few paths through the woods, a beach, a cave, a lookout tower, and some stone ruins, lots of space to walk around and explore. The shopping center next door also has a coffeehouse with lots of tables, right on the water, so you can all sit and take a break after your hike.

On Empress Isle there is a waterfall with a cave with cave paintings behind it, an ancient lighthouse to climb, have a pic-nic on the top of the mountain by the spring, or bring watercraft and ride around, or play in the water with the sea life. Just search Empress Isle Best, ~Ari

Dusty's Rock n' Country Lounge is PG, it's on Peace. The kids can ride the bull there. There's kids there quite often riding the bull and just playing around. Might not be as fun as some of the other places, but they might enjoy riding the bull.

take the family on a tour of Madwand's Coasters...they are all over Second Life and not one of them is the same. You can grab all the landmarks at the one in Inner Child.
They are only 10L per person per ride, and they are a blast.

DaddyChris' Daycare is in Falacaria. While currently might be undergoing remodelling, he has swings, a set of tubes to walk through, swimming pool, train, bumper cars, roller skating, and even a full Pirate ship. Great place for kids to play.
Lost Girls is also a wonderful place as mentioned.
A lot of regular attrations in SL are really also family friendly. For example, one of my daughters loves walking through Bliss Basin.
Shameless Self Promotion - My yard and store is open to anybody. Located in Whinlatter on the river, I have one of Siggy's water slides set up, swimming in the river or the waterfall pool in my yard, swings for all ages. I have released my line of strollers in the my store, which can be used to take SL kids for walks down the SL highways and byways (not good for rougher terrain). See my Profile Picks for TP and location info. One caveat - the house itself is NOT family friendly per se. Everything else I consider open to the public, however.

Thanks, Missus Projects! I could not remember Falacaria - and Lost Girls, well, I built a lot of it, so I'm glad you like it! Saw the stroller ad, and I will have to check them out, though Im jes a *bit* old for a stroller, it could still come in handy on those long outings. Do ya have a booth at Inner Child or Playland yet to sell 'em, too? Mari

I have some suggestions for cool places to sightsee.. not much in the way of rides and such, but some really nice scenery, the Isle of Wyrms is a neat place to check out, and you'll meet some cool people (and dragons ) there too. Svarga and Lauks Nest are some super places to hike and take in some amazing scenery. Last but not least.. fun shopping at Neverwhere, currently a pond for ice skating on Noramyr Gullwings quadrant of the sim, and a cool area to explore in Bob's Shattered Lands.

the island of Innisfree although not specifically built for famiiles has some great areas - playground with swings etc, swimming pool with diving board and slide, beach with sandcastle, picnic areas, skydiving facilities, and boats ( you can also place ur own boat to use), also a great place to ride if you own a horse. Its a quiet island but is not pg there are some kissing and cuddle animations but nothing more explicit. Just put Innisfree in search

Best advice I got from here was to look at www.secondseeker.com. Wonderful reviews of beautiful places in SL!
