I haven't seen a consensus on where folks, particularly the content creators, will end up after these forums (stupidly) close. It's really impossible for most to decide now, until we try to use the new forum area.

So, I'd like to run a survey in The Forum Cartel group a couple of months after closing, to find out how many members went where, and (for anyone who is willing to make the info public) tell folks where individuals are primarily to be found.

The survey results would presumably be distributed via notecard inworld, and posted on the group's forum: http://www.forumcartel.com/phpBB3/index.php

Good idea? Bad idea?

Well even if I didn't like the idea, I would never answer in such a negative way as the poll suggests.

Of course I would like to know where most people wind up and the dust won't settle for a while. Fortunately a quick look at each forum gives you an idea of the climate and who is where. I'd be interested in seeing the survey though.

Yes, go for it. People don't have to answer the survey if they don't want

We have a growing list of merchants/content creators on http://slapt.me and I would assume that the other forum owners will read each others forums to pass news etc. on which would help each individual forum. I tend to read all the forums and spread news to ours as well :) I think with co operation between the different forums the community needn't be as fragmented as some imagine it will be :)

This poll sucks.

There isn't an option for 'Gravity'.

.... And I'm not taking about the tone of the content!
