Problem with Classifieds?

When I try to search my shop, I am not getting it come up. I am also only getting one page of classifieds, hence just the higher cost ones. Is it a problem with my search, or are others getting it?

I have at least 9 classifieds running at all times. I finally broke down and paid over L$500 for one to get it on the front page. The rest are invisible 99% of the time.
Most of the time I search for basic keywoprds I only get one page of results. And none of my ads are on it. And that one is usally buried under all the spaces and asterisks loaded ads for unrelated places. I've reported the bug a few times but we all know what response that got.

I must admit I don't normally check mine, I did this time due to the update and noticed I had nobody tp or anything from them. If it isn't just something wrong with my search, we are spending a lot of money on nothing :O(

I've had problems with search since I did my first classified weeks ago. I don't understand how the engine works and most of my keywords don't work, meaning when I test to see if my gallery comes up when I search a particular keyword that I've entered in its description, it doesn't show. When I search for anything, my results always show alphabetical, so I don't get when they say to pay more to get your listing at the top. It makes no difference. I've put in support requests and have gotten no reply. I pay 50 lindens/wk which I feel pretty much goes down a hole. Anyone have any answers as to how this all works?

There is a problem with some ads not auto-renewing. I run two ads every week. One of them renews with no problem. For the other, I have to delete it, and republish it every Tuesday morning. It has become a part of my weekly ritual. Unfortunately, its no longer enough to check your profile to see if you ad is running. Your ad can show in your profile, even if it has not been renewed. Try deleting your ad and recreating it. Then perform your search to see if the ad show up.

Thank you, I will try that. But, I usually run a search check after I place the classified and did know about some of them not auto-renewing so I don't think that's it. :)

i found i get a TON more tp's the 1st day or 2 after they renew then it drops off, so what i did was make a new ad each day, so each week on that day it renews so everyday a new ad is being renewed. seems to help

Im not 100% sure but sounds like you are using the "all" tab to search.

It is only when you search in the "classifieds" tab that the amount paid for the ad matters.
I could be wrong but i seem to remember search working that way, cant get in world at the moment to chaeck though.
