The issue has only occured when online with second life and not browsing the net. what happens is SL will freeze. I must restart my router in order to receive a connection to the Internet. Bottom right of my screen are two icons that look like two pcs infront of eachother. When I lose my connection, I go to Internet Connections and right click on the icon during which time it cannot connect. It is stuck on Renewing IP Address. My IP Address has never given me an issue during regular browsing either. I am plugged into a router which is shared by two computers. But this issue only happens while using SL. The Cable internet provider does not understand what is happening. Is it the Router...Second Life?

Are you running any firewalls, anti-virus, anti-spyware, or other anti-malware software? If so, which ones?

I have no Spy-Wares of any kind...also my Anti-Virus is always diabled when I play SL and when I download at patch. I have froze 4 times so far today. It doesn't crash because it never does a crash report. It seems to freeze. I then have to turn on and off my router. I have left my PC on all day with the internet on and when I use it after that time...there are no issues. Only when using SL. Why is this happening? Are there special settings in Preferences? I have also removed SL and re-installed it. My PC has been checked two days ago...no problems. I have crashed a few times but the issue seems to be with Second Life. When I use it. This is very difficult to handle when I constantly have to reset my router. If there is anyone at all with any computer Savvy...this is one hell of a challenge because it seems to be either a bug in my system...a setting is off...or something. If you think you have an answer...please feel free to respond to this. This is no longer fun for me when I'm with my SL friends or at work and then I freeze. Tell me what your settings are at and maybe I can adjust mine to match yours and see if that is the issue.

Freezes Continue

Today at Wengen my SL has froze again. Router was re-set and now things are fine. Still haven't found anyone with answers to my issue. The issue has to do with Second Life. I left my pc on all night and when I used it this morning...it was good. It only freezes when I log onto SL. I have been playing for an hour and a half. I roughly have to re-set atleast three times a day. Please, can someone help me understand what is the proble,.
