I've brought up the login screen 3 times in the last 20 minutes, and twice saw a weird message in red on the bottom left of the screen, not in the blog, about the grid being down. The grid status indicated it was down and there were 0 logins. I tried it again after looking in the blog, and the screen looked fine, so I logged in. THen I crashed, and when I logged in he third time the weird message was back. But I ignored it and logged in fine. Anyone else seen this?

I got the grid down message a little while ago when it was obviously up, so I waited a bit and was able to login :)

Hmm, and the other day the entire login splash screen was offline, perhaps not because the page wasn't working (which should be a snap to fix) but rather because it was under someone else's control?

Dunno, I saw also the info on the grid being taken offline and no one in world but of course I clicked "connect" anyway and got straight in, less lag and problems than before.

Sometimes when things are borked, the login screen can be borked as well. Even when I see 0 residents logged on, I try logging in anyways. If logins are truely down, you'll get the message saying as much. It's just a glitch, not a hack.
