OK just a small issue, 9 times out of 10..when I log into Secondlife, it tells me that my password is wrong or that I have the caps lock key on. So I enter my password...and off we go..everything is fine. The weird thing is, I DONT have my caps lock key on...and I have resaved my password quite a few times.. and it still happens. My question is... is there a way to save my password so that this doesnt continue to happen... maybe a file on my "C" drive that needs changing or something?
oh... when Secondlife starts, there are far more stars in my password space than I have letters in my password. Suggesting that it has somehow saved my password incorrectly? Oh...and this only started happening about 2 updates ago too.
anyone got a fix for this?
Thank you in advance. Alice

You could try modifying the shortcut that you use to start SL with.
The default install of SL creates a shortcut with the following in the target field:
"C:\Program Files\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe"
add
-login FirstName LastName Password
to it so that the target field looks like this:
"C:\Program Files\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe" -login FirstName LastName Password
You have to replace FirstName LastName Password with your avatars first name, last name, and password.
That will bypass the login screen entirely, so if you like to see the log in screen it won't be to your suiting.
