Looking for a Singing Animation.

Does anyone here know where...or from whom, I could purchase a singing animation? To clarify somewhat, I recently built myself a little stand up microphone, and I'd like to add a poseball to it that would allow the user to appear to be singing into the mic. I'm fairly sure I've seen mics in SL already with these animations...so I'm seriously hoping I can get my hands on the animation.

Any help?

Beau Perkins has one that's a singing-on-bended-knee anim - he might have others, too. Craig Altman has some very nice anims - definitely worth checking out. Or maybe - ask a singer!

hiko Nino' "Happy Dispatch" store might be worth a try. It had singing animation (though with hand-held mic if i recall right) and a set of poseballs for the audience to 'enjoy the show' while it goes on ^^;

Well Beebo..I hope you have a little better luck than I do. :) Mr. P's has the Serenade, which as mentioned is a kneeling croon. And Happy Dispatch does have a handheld mic animation, so if you're looking for either you're in luck.

Me? I'm looking for something to use with a stand up mic. Ah well...the search continues. :D

Not much luck to report.

Kneeling crooner won't do, and the Happy Dispatch singer had the most unsettling BIG O mouth that it also wouldn't do. Looked like I was trying to swallow a watermelon and not enjoying the experience.

I need a pose rather than an anim -- although I would have settled for an anim -- so the search continues.

Interesting visit to Happy Dispatch, however. Certainly broadened my exposure to aspects of SL that I've heard of but not really encountered before. Happy Dispatch specializes in sex anims (guess that's the "Happy" part) and evidently one of their customers was in a real hurry to try out the merchandise. He and an escort were banging away somehere in the store, with her dialogue bombarding me with "ooohs" and "aahhhs" and "your such a stud" (sic) while I was shopping.

The really funny part was that I had evidently arrived towards the end of their transaction, because I was there long enough to hear her shout "I'm ****ing" and then almost immediately, "Okay, your time is up."

Well if you stumble across one before I....please let me know. I'll certainly be sure to do the same. :)

Yes...I saw. :) Showing off one of your newer tattoo's I believe. I however, am looking for something a little more....reserved I guess would be the word. I'm going to be hosting an event this week and I wanted to be able to place a mic on stage so people could climb up and "sing" a song they liked or requested. Hmmmm.... Hold on a sec...

Terrible video to use...I know....but it was the first one that came to mind. :D:D:D

Go to the seven veils sim, my friend owns that and she has a stage outside of her texture store with a mic, keyboard etc...

I am not ENTIRELY sure, but there *may* be a singing animation on the mic...worth a check out.

I think most are inside guitars though

good luck

Nertz. Three mics and an amp...but alas....no animation. Thanks for the heads up though as I may go buy one of these mics myself. :)

If the product isn't exactly what you are looking for you might contact the maker and see what they can do for you.

Possibly one could find a translator - posting in the foreign language forums and asking to get a request translated might work. Incidentally, there's a Chinese SL forum at http://www.slforum.cn , in case anyone needs to know that.

Perhaps this would do, when slboutique comes back up:

This one is a pose stand with anims for holding a mike and such, by Kaklick Martin.

The mouth animation is typically done through script that continuously triggers one of standard emotes on top of the basic pose animation, so it should (at least in theory) be possible to take the animation file out of the mic and place it in your item, along with script which plays that animation for the person who touches your microphone, or something along these lines. This way you'd have the basic pose but minus the big mouth part ^^;

True enough, but the animation itself it more of a concert performer animation, with arm waving and head bobbing while the knees are bent and such. I'm looking for something more along the lines of this...

Or perhaps even this.....

Or the gentleman on the far right below, except with some sort of slight sway. :)

Hmmmm....perhaps I should just go ask for it to be made if it hasn't already.........

Yes, exactly! That's what I wanted for a few photo shots to be used in my shape business marketing. Old-style crooning at the mic, not the rock star athletics.
