invisible objects

i have recently purchased land on the new continent and i am in the process of building on it, i have placed a house a couple of times and deleted it, i have returned all the objects on the land back to my inventory but...i am now standing on an invisible floor and when i move i bang into invisible walls...i am a little confused as to why (i use ctrl alt and t to open up the textures but there is nothing there!!) i cannot see any objects on my land and i have a full prim count when i view my land properties...i have also logged in and out to see if that fixes the problem!

is this a common occurrence?

It isn't widespread, but it does happen from time to time. Sadly, the only thing that I've heard working is if you call in a Linden to help sort it out. *shrugs* Although, I would suggest logging out, clearing the cache and then logging in and see if it appears.

What does your "About Land" say for objects?

Check at 0,0,0 of the sim you are on.

hi, in my land properties i have 234 available...i have 1024 size land...there is nothing on the land i emptied it...
also i have just noticed another problem...when ever i try to rez an object...it gets sent off world and returned to my inventory...
i am now beginning to wish i had staid in mullett where it was always foggy...at least i never had these problems! i am going to try logging out and clearing my cache again to see if that helps...

In this case, the 0,0,0 isn't likely to be the problem. Sometimes, if you rezz something and it doesn't show, there's a chance it will wind up in the corner of the sim. But you said that there are invisible prims on your land.. and that the about land says there are prims, correct?

Either way, all I can recommend is opening Help Request and see if a Linden will look into it for you. This might require a restart of the sim, because of the odd 'object ghosting.'

You have my sympathy! Moving to a new lot is hard either way, and this must surely make it seem impossible!

the prim count it empty as in there are 234 available...nothing on the land and i can (if i could) knock out 234 objects...lol
the objects are returned to my inventory and dont appear on the corner of the land...i can but wait for a reply from a linden (please!)

another funny thing i have noticed is that when i rez the item on my land... the message i get says 'Your object 'path1' has been returned to your inventory lost and found folder from parcel 'Public Sandbox - Build and script' at Strigoiu 0, 0 because it went off-world.' so i went on a wizz about to find this land and it is nowhere near my land (though it is in strigoiu) very strange!

Check your object entry permissions for the plot. Make sure its turned on.

All the invisible objects are sitting at 0,0,0 in the sim the plot is located at. Go to 0,0,0 and delete them from there and the invisible duplicates will disappear as well.

This happened to us while we are building our new dance club. The builder went to live help, told the Linden's of the problem. They fixed it immediatley, but they won't tell us what it is or where it came from. Had to either jump over the thing or find the end and walk around it to get out the door.

Does anyone know what that dang invisible wall is?
