First off, are you on wireless? It sounds like the connection with the server is being dropped. If you don't have a clean connection this can sometimes result in the client not maintaining the connection to the server.

If you mean does the game freeze for a couple of seconds every so often, and then jump to the position it should be in, then yes, there have been numerous reports of this in the blogs with the latest release, although it seems to be much better in the new first look viewer.
