My group was disbanded because it only had one member, however, there was land in the group. After it was disbanded I was not able to get my land back and it sold. I have not received the money from the land sale.
Any thoughts, since LL does not seem to want to help?
Thanks

Was the land up for sale before the group disbanded?

I'm not sure if there's a whole lot you can do then . They wouldn't take the land back, because the person who bought it did pay for it fairly. The best (only) way to get this resolved is to email support and/or call LL on the phone and explain and ask if there's any way you can get the balance that's now stuck in a non-functional group. Wish I had something better to suggest

Assuming that this happened more than a day ago, the land likely reverted to Governor Linden after the group disbanded, and Linden Lab would have got the proceeds. It is very unlikely you'll be reimbursed, but it can't hurt to try.
However, if the group was JUST disbanded and the land JUST sold, you might still get payment; funds resulting group land sale aren't distributed until the next day.

Hi, this is my problem too. I created a group to rent out some properties, decided to sell & all renters all left group & then (by mistake & stupidly!) I evicted myself ( I thought that if the group had no members it would cease to exist & I would get my land back - nooooo!) have emailed SL 3 times without the courtesy of a reply which considering the monthly fee is a bit much. Do they care about us! Will now try phoning - agghhhh!

Disbanded?

From: Hunter Westinghouse My group was disbanded because it only had one member, however, there was land in the group. Just curious, but who exactly disbanded your group? Is this some automatic feature that disbands the group after a certain amount of time if you don't have enough members? Or did you disband the group, not realizing the repercussions?

Hi. I had this exact same problem. I emailed support and they got back to me after about 3 weeks with some BS question to which I had to reply. I expect they'll see my reply in another 3 weeks time. If anyone actually does anything I'll keep you posted.

I have an outstanding over 2 week old billing ticket. The only response I've gotten so far was when they sent me a "Rate Second Life Service" e-mail yesterday .

When you form a group, it states that the minimum members must be 3. You have 24 hours (if memory serves) to gain members, or the group is auto disbanded, the same is true if the group drops below the minimum membership. It also tells you that any land deeded/owned by that group will be lost at that time. The confusing part is, where it gets lost to?

Someone please correct me if I am wrong its been something like 3 years since I made a group.

From: bilbo99 Emu btw, minimum three to a group now? It used to be three, then everyone wanted it to be just two, but now apparently people want a group to be one. How long before a group forms spontaneously in a corner from damp rags, and requires no one to be in it?
