How can you tell how far two places are from each other?

How can you tell how far two places are from each other? Quick and dirty method: Stand in place one, on the map click on place two. The beacon will show you the distance between it and your camera. |

I played around with the map, too and never found anything. I never thought to minimize it and look for a beacon haha. Thanks again! |
