Imagine you are born into a world filled with endless possibilities. After getting your feet wet, you start building things, buying things, buying land, etc. You get hooked and after a time find yourself with a ton of money in your account and a ton of time invested in this life of yours.

Then one day, another resident files an AR report on you. You wake up to find everything you worked to create and all your money is gone and your account deleted.

If this was a possibility in your world, would you invest your time and money in it?

I thought you were going to sing the Lennon song!

To answer your question, well, it really depends on what you are building and doing.

You're born, you grow, you learn, you .... [fill in verb/s of choice]

Then one day a rock falls off a cliff and kills you.

Was it worth ever living at all?

My answer is yes.............

The next time that you're standing around in your yard counting your money and building things, make sure you're wearing pants.

It may be worth it, but it is far more worthwhile to stand up to those who would like to change the world to fit their narrow moral agenda.

If its HIS yard, and he has a 8 foot fence around it, why would you care if he's got pants on or not?

Anything is a possibility in anyone's world.
A lesser range of things are probabilities.

Instant zapping of a resident's identity, land, inventory and money in response to an AR might be a possibility, but not a high probability - unless what you doing is a clear violation of something that LL have *expressly stated* to be way beyond the boundaries of acceptability.

To date, child-porn is the only such activity.
To date, if you were to cover a vendor with an invisible prim in order to steal money you would, if we are to believe the Police Blotter, probably just get a warning.
It's a great pity that LL suck so badly at communication.

Routine instant zapping is the most extreme interpretation of the daniellinden blog post.
I don't really believe that it is probable.
YMMV

That's the problem, the people most likely to fill out ARs *do* care.

This forum isn't for general discussion; there are many Resident Sites where this discussion is appropriate — Resident Answers is for Resident-to-Resident help. :) I'll close this thread...
