i don't know if there is a limit, but i've been paid 70k at once direct avatar to avatar gift payment more then a few times so its at least that high

my thoughts too. although pretty sure there is no limit, i've been concerned about transferring large amounts since that RISK API blog entry by Zee Linden in January.

Don't think so, if you look in the economic stats it lists transfers of 500k+ so it would be at least that. Personally the most I have ever transfered is about 300k.

Yea I think it's only limited by your account balance. I know I have bought full sims before by paying a person direct after they transfered the land to me if thats any help.
