I was in my land doing some tinkering (well actually I was getting frustrated that I couldn't tinker because the lag made it impossible) when I overheard the following on channel 0:
Bxxx Gxxx: landbot large Bxxx Gxxx: landbot plot Bxxx Gxxx: landbot down Bxxx Gxxx: landbot plot Bxxx Gxxx: landbot come Bxxx Gxxx: landbot come Bxxx Gxxx: landbot come Bxxx Gxxx: landbot come
[name censored so I don't get in trouble on the forum]
Does this mean the landbots are now in the hands of n00bs and the general population?
Everyday I seem to get at least 1 more reason to leave SL for good.

From: Jebediah Brown Bxxx Gxxx: landbot large Quite possibly something to so with landscaping. When you edit terrain, you have small, medium and large brushes, with those brushes also being available in scripts. If it's a land buying bot, I don't see why there would be a need for a large avatar

Maybe it's an economic land buying sex bot?

That particular Landbot is a land terraforming tool. It's really nice in that you can operate it by commands in public chat, and by giving it a series of command you can quickly terraform an entire sim.
It shouldn't be confused with the land-buying landbot.
