LL Charges to Upload No Image?

Yesterday, after taking uploaded snapshots throughout day and sharing them with my friends, I took and was charged for uploading some pictures that, without changing any settings, came out 0x0 (but I could save images properly to my hard drive). This area was/is most certainly a super-adult area (although the behavior of some there was super juvenile) I was later able to upload pictures again fine without any change in settings in different places.

Is there some setting that disables uploaded snapshots somehow? I do not see any such option on my island. If there is such a setting or has LL has decided to prevent uploaded snapshots in some places, why do they still charge you if they know you will get nothing? Why do they not give you a message telling you can't take an uploaded snapshot there?

Taking a snapshot could mean just tossing away Lindens, not cool.

Check the snapshot again later. Often times if the asset server is having problems, an image will say "0 x 0" and be missing for quite some time, even if it's actually uploaded. I've had it persist until my next log on, sometimes.
