I mean the weekends are the busiest times in SL, and where the most problems occur. When you submit a ticket, it stays in "new" status for hours and days on end. And Help Island volunteers cannot help with such things as Billing and Account modifications. Also, there is NO response to downed sims...24 hours for a downed sim is unacceptable.
Can we get some weekend support please????

So far, since the new system has gone into place, it's quite unusual to not get a response for that length of time.. add a comment to your ticket (nicely) and ask what's up..

 Not only can you not get help... but the telephone number that are listed are no longer in use. Basic account holder is all im going to be, Exactly what does a prem account holder get that I dont? neither gets any real life help when you need it. all we get is pages of endless reading.

Tickets take more than a week to get a response back for me. Sometimes more than two weeks.
Support is less on the weekend, but it's the same with any company. I work for Intel and there are far fewer people here on the weekends than during the weekdays, YET we never close. The fabs are always running, and every minute they aren't running is roughly a million dollars out of Intel's pocket. You can't expect the same sort of response on the weekend than during the week - everyone needs a day off, even the Lindens.
