But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

Silver Rose. Right off the Caledon Victoria City telehub. And walk around a bit; there are a few other good ones in the vicinity. I mention Silver Rose because Yuriko was one of the people who was there and provided much-needed content when I started Caledon. Yuriko hasn't been advertising much lately but her stuff is better than ever. Part of my success is that she's was (and is) so incredibly good at what she does...

Marly's. A small shop, but she's good.

All of the above mentioned stores are great. It depends on the type of retro you are looking for. My shop, Carnaby Street, is totally dedicated to 60s-70s fashion.

Artilleri is great for the rockabilly look so if you're into the rockabilly thing, Old Gravy also has some cute stuff.

My cousin has done saddle shoes avaiable at Calzature on Dragon Isle.
And another family member I know is working on Poodle skirts and other 50s clothing. Which will also be avaiable on dragon isle in the ver near future.

Since you like Artillerie, that tells me your interest is 50's style.
So, i'm another vote for 1-800 Bettie's. Their 50's styles are very good.

I love retro stuff too. Jonquille Noir (Little Rebel) has some great retro stuff, I especially like her cocktail dresses.

I second that Little Rebel vote; the last time I went there I spent an absolute fortune...
...the texturing on the cocktail dresses looks so good, you could almost touch it, they have the best plain dark pencil skirt in SL, and if you want male stuff, they have rockabilly shirts to die for...
...though Bettie's has the nicest parachute-silk-looking vintage underwear in SL; corset and french knickers, with and without garters, on every layer, copy and tintable too.

I'm surprised no one else listed it, unless I missed it. My girl loves Paper Courture (sp?). I actually enjoy the atmosphere myself as well, and reading their hilarious blog. Well worth checking out, if only for the amusement of it. They do have very nice ladies clothing, but their men's clothing I wouldn't touch.
