Every time I take a photo - i make a camera noise and do an animation -

i have searched the menu's, but can not find how to turn this off -

Any one know??

If you enable the advanced menu by doing ctrl alt d then Advanced Menu > check off "Quiet Snapshots to Disk" which will disable the animation and whirring sound

That's not a combination that can be used on all keyboards though (I need to hold control - technically ctrl+alt - to make ` for instance).

It turns off the snapshot sound with CTRL-SHIFT-S too now.

Yah, this can be a problem when your peeking through peoples bathroom windows to snap photo's. I usually just cough when I snap the pic, this masks the camera noise.

BTW, selecting that option not only turns off the animation and quiets the sound locally, but it also does so in-world (i.e., with that option selected, other people don't know you're taking pictures).

Especially at events (like something somber and serious) where a reminder of a camera going off is not wanted.
