I created a group about 3 days ago and when I change to that group it ONLY shows as owner or member whichever I have it set on with no group name. Is there something I have to do to make the group name show? I published to web but that didnt seem to help either.

Is it just a matter of time for it to register in the database or do I need to set something to show it?

There's a checkbox on the group information general tab near the bottom left for "show in group list".

On the roles tab, near the bottom left, there's a checkbox for "Members are visible".

Does one of those help?

You might want to click the "Refresh from server" after changing things when using the group information dialog.

If you are talking about your "So Trill" group, it does show in your profile and in group search.

You might want to reset the roles...

Go to the roles tab, highlight the owner name and copy re-enter the role names under that box, then hit refresh.

If you want the Group Name to show, you'll have to go under Members and Roles, and either create a new role with the name of the group as the text shown and assign it to yourself, or change the text shown for the Everyone and/or Owners roles to your group name.
