When searching for something you..

When searching for an item(s) in second life such as clothing, tattoos, furniture, etc; what search method do you tend to use?

"ALL", "CLASSIFIED" , or "FIND PLACES"


I was told "classifieds" and "find places" are used the most in general, however i personally always use the "all" feature and am curious what others use.

If I'm looking for a themed area like games or lifestyles, I'll use the 'Places' tab. And when I'm checking out current events, well...

I almost always use all. I think I have only used classifieds once. I tend to forget they are there. Maybe I should try them. My son (19 years old) is wanting a ninja AO or something kewl (as he would say.) I will have to try out the classifieds on that.

classifieds seem to offer more specific keywords in general. I almost always use the places tab and always forget to use the narrowing search drop down menu beside it. it can be a massive head ache sometimes, especially if Im trying to avoid malls. but its the same in classified too, malls have a shload of keywords and one or two places that might come close to what Im looking for if at all

Hey check out abranimations they have some good ninja AOs.

There was also some asian themed sim i went to with a bunch of small shops, i forget the name....... But they had about 3 ninja animatons and some turned you invisible, they were pretty rad.
