Really getting tired of different problems like this-When using SecondLifeVoiceFirstLook I have always had to reload 1.18 even though I had done it numerous times, infact every time I log in!
NOW-It gives error message & will not let me log in saying auto-update has failed-may be firewall & to download the latest version AGAIN-which when I go to dowload in support it will not. I've tried clearing cache, rebooting, no fire-wall-Its like it is just stuck on this error & will not quit.
HELP! We pay all these high prices to be a part of this & then have to deal with issue after isuue-have to be a computer geek 10 x's over or at least we all are going to end up that way after all of this! High price for "FUN"!
All help appreciated!

Download a fresh copy of the install and uninstall the game. Then, run a search on Second Life and delete all folders pertaining to it. Then reboot the computer and reinstall.
Then, if that doesn't work, make absolutely sure that your video card drivers are up to date. Those things seem to be connected to EVERYTHING to do with the game, including uploading. Goofy, huh?

Just so akll of you know that might experience same problem: I remembered this worked once before:
If you have another account, attempt to log in with it-it asks for usual update (that I already have) & then it will let you update & then I was able to log in with my usual avator!
Not the correct way, but at least I could get back in!
