Best or good building community website?

I don't know if this is in the right place, but I've been searching through community websites and such and I've really come out empty handed.

Does anyone know a good building website or forum that actually has people go to it?

Who wants to forum chat about building when I could be actually building instead....

Ok, so back to #2.... what kind of things do you think folks would talk about in terms of building? Tips and tricks for different prim cuts, etc? How to incorporate sculpties? should we bother with using alpha textures to save prims for windows when they render like crap in relation to other walls with the same treatment?

If you scroll down further on these forums you will see content creation- building tips. It's the most active forum on building that I've seen.

I think people are more helpful if you've actually tried building and visited the ivory tower of prims.

I was thinking more like works in progress or builds for special objects like full prim outfits. Maybe I'm too use to real 3d modeling forums. But, i'm building a 'scorpion man' avatar and I know there has to be quite a few ways to model the muscles and such..

Not to mention it would just be nice to talk to some people that also like doing what I do. Seems when I'm flying around, all I find is sex crazed people and the occasional builder on a rooftop.

Most builders are hiding away up in their skybox workshops...far away from rampaging newbies with freebie penises wandering around the grid

I'm lucky to have found an empty sandbox. Though, the greased up deaf guy did run past me once.. that just made me laugh at the randomness.
