What does '-noinvlib 'and 'purge' mean in "E:\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe -multiple -noinvlib -purge -autologin" ?

Sounds like the inventory library index has become corrupted, clear your cache (Edit, Preferences, Network Tab, and reboot your PC. If that fails, it maybe a registry corruption key, uninstall SL completely, reboot and reinstall.

LL have been changing asset server databases recently, looking at the switch after the execute file shortcut, you are allowing SL to run multiple clients, and the other switches refer to purging your cache/inventory library index from the LL server so it can be rebuilt on the new server. Assuming you have already logged in since the upgrade, these switches should have defaulted and been removed. Try deleting the shortcut from your desktop and making a new one.

Sorry to tell I still don't know the function of "-noinvlib -purge -autologin" in the shortcut.
1. noinvlib : ??
2. purge : ??
3. autologin: ??

Here's what two of the terms mean;

-noinvlib means don't load the standard Linden provided inventory folder that's called Library in the Inventory display.

-purge means clear the SL cache when running SL.

--autologin means bypass the login screen


There's a list of these SL command parameters at http://www.cheesefactory.us/lslwm/newview.htm . The same list is in the Linden wiki but the text is too small to read conveniently.

I checked a few other wikis and none state what autologin means.

Empirical testing seems to indicate no immediate effect from --autologin .

The by pass login helps, as I have been crashing a lot since update.
