Crashing on startup? Can I downgrade my version?

I've been crashing less than a minute after I log in, ever since I upgraded to the latest optional release... Clearing cache did nothing to remedy this.

Is there a way to squish this bug? I'm not even logged in log enough to report one!
Ideally, I'd like to downgrade my viewer. =/ Newer releases are buggier.

Just from curiosity, what is that people do to make their old install files go away? The new install files have different names than the old, and the uninstall and install programs have never made any attempt to delete any of the old install files on my systems.

Some of the previous install files are listed here: /280/5d/176482/1.html .

There's a mandatory upgrade scheduled for this Wednesday, which will require viewer update.

The current version of next Wednesday's update is available for testing at /280/5d/176482/1.html .

I seem to have fixed my problem by unchecking "Enable OpenGL vertex buffer objects".
*shrug* Hope I can re-enable that in the new release.

If the installs are all named something different, why do I only have 1 functioning exe in my SecondLife folder?
