Due to an excess of griefed prims (10m penis's to be exact) on our condo property, we have long last decided to move all our land to our renters group, and put our land on auto return on non group objects.

What our dilemma is, we have a bit over a sim in land, we are right at one full sim tier, but do not want to go over to the next tier, which is $100 US more, even if it just for a month, seems like a huge waste of money to switch land from one group to another. Is there a way that we can switch the land, you cant just re-deed, we checked, one group will have to "buy" the land from the other group. During this transfer, how do we avoid any tier increase from happening? Is there an easier way to do this?

Thanks for anyones' replies in advance...cinda

You want to do the following steps in a row:

1. Set the land to sell to yourself for $0. Be certain it is set to sell only to you and not to anyone.
2. Make sure you are wearing the tag for the buying group.
3. Pull the tier out of the selling group. You will get a warning about not enough tier.
4. Put the tier into the buying group.
5. Buy the land for group. Make sure when you do the buy that things look right - i.e. it says your tier will not increase, etc.
6. Reset things on the land you bought - i.e. Autoreturn is reset to off when you sell.

You won't lose land instantly because of not enough tier, but you want to finish this once you start the switch.
