My LapTop is doing SL ok with the Emerald viewer but at start up I get a message I can have no support because I do not meet minimum specs.
Well I have looked at the minium specs. and recomended ones and I do, in fact exceed some.
Is it because my Nvidia Graphic Card is not listed?
It is a GT220M which I think will be better or at least equal to those on the list eg 8000/9000 series.
Thanks
June

It is very posible that the graphics card can't be verified that it will work because the dev team working on the viewer has not tested it yet or even know about it.
So if it works the you are in luck, if it doesn't work you can't complain to anyone because it was not tested yet.

It's probably fine but just not on the list of supported cards because it is new. You can ignore the warning and proceed but just make sure to tweak your graphics preferences using the custom sliders as it will default you to the minimum settings.

It's about equivalent to the lowest "Recommended" graphics on the SL page. Linden Labs just stopped updating that page a couple of years ago. You can tell it not to bug you about video cards again in the Pop-Ups tab of preferences and manually set the video preferences for medium performance.
