Emerald viewer question ??

Hi guys...I have recently installed the Emerald viewer...My question is ....In my inventory i have noticed a folder named #Emerald...upon opening this folder there is...Bridge (#LSL<-> client bridge v0.04 ) worn on bridge.....if i go into attach to the said thing is attached to bridge....i dont understand what this is...can anyone elaborate on this,also if i detach it will anything happen and can i attach anything else on this bridge point ?....If you need to know what i mean,try to attach to and go into more down bottom and you will see this bridge attach point below r knee...Thank you for any help....

the bridge and the attached object are custom emerald-specific enhancements. the attached object has in it a script or scripts that make a couple of Emerald's features more powerful. namely, it enables 'true online status' in profiles, it enables the radar to display either more or more accurate information, and it enables a different method of point to point teleport within a region.

as to whether you can attach something other than the bridge object to that attach point, well, i don't know. as long as the attach point exists i would say yes you can, but, without having tested this, it seems possible that if you disable emerald from using the object it might also disable that the extra attach point exists. and yes you can detach the object but if you don't also disable it in preferences it will re-attach itself.
