On the east continent, the one with 3 large masses conected together, there is a large island that never is avalible to go into. I have been there before when there was a huge amount of land that is now no longer in existance.
So anyways, what is the deal with that huge island that never allows you to go into?

Is this the furthest east bit? I went there when it was first added - called Gaeta I think. I imagine it was put there for future expansion but perhaps the regions are turned off for the time being. It's still on the map though.

Hmmmmm... perhaps this would be good starting point in the search for Magellan? This sounds like the current frontier. There must be a way to get through the grid borders. Is there connecting navigable water and then a barrier one runs into or must one port to the island from a remote location and is currently unable to?

Within the past 24 hours the Gaeta continent has been made accessible - The 48 sims still have generic names , LL have also given 36 of the Corsican Generic named sims their final names (This was done on Thursday/Friday):
