I pay extra for land so I can have a workshop, and a store. When I'm in my workshop, I'm constantly covered with text from the neighboring Club: [
17:54] Luxy Sensations Club: We are here for your pleasure Stitcher Sellery, so be sure to tip the dancers, they are working for YOU!
[17:55] Lucky Chair - Large Screen Version shouts: We have a winner!
[17:55] Lucky Chair - Large Screen Version shouts: Looking for a winner whose name begins with.... L.
[17:55] Lucky Chair - Large Screen Version shouts: Looking for a winner whose name begins with.... Z.
[17:58] Lucky Chair - Large Screen Version shouts: Looking for a winner whose name begins with.... H.
[17:58] Lucky Chair - Large Screen Version shouts: Looking for a winner whose name begins with.... W.
This is just a minute sample of the spam.

First off, they aren't there for me, what they're doing is interrupting my work. Imagine working on a minute prim and suddenly, when you go to click something, you misclick due to spam covering your screen.

I've tried contacting the owner of the club and suggested he change the settings on his greeter scripts, but he does not respond. What can I do? I feel this is a violation of the TOS as the club text does infringe on my privacy and the privacy of my guests. Please, I'm open to all suggestions other than to move - it took me too long to get the property.

Thanks

You can mute these objects. Click on the chat history button and then look at the top left on the window that comes up.

Shouting messages like this affects a 100m radius. The messages in question, repeated ad nauseum, constitute spam.

If the club owner doesn't fix it, abuse report it.

Politely ask the owner to make it not shout, move it so it doesn't interfere with your land, or otherwise fix it. If that doesn't work, abuse report it. Then mute it.

Thank you for your suggestions. I have asked the owner before, with no luck. I sent another request, to which I was then greeted with much yelling (is there a limit to how many people/objects you can mute?). I have had problems with him in the past putting objects on my land, to which he denied - although the items were returned to him.

Again, thanks.
