OK i joined my 13 yr old on the teen version but never got the activation link. How do I get a "person" to help me with this problem. It says I can submit a special ticket but where to I find that at?

Go to the support page here: http://www.secondlife.com/community/support.php Scroll to the bottom to log into the Support Portal, then click 'Submit a Ticket' near the center of your screen. If you're a Basic member, make sure you chose 'Special Questions - Basic account or Guest logins' from the Ticket Type drop down menu or LL will ignore it. If you're Premium, you can chose any ticket type or access Live Chat via the Solution Finder.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things. Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut. |

Top of the Forum page (the one you're on here). Click the SUPPORT link at the top just under the SL banner. Far right.
That is the Support page. Now scroll down to the very bottom and you will see the option to log in by your account name. Do so. You will now have various options including submitting a Ticket. You can also access Live Chat by going through the steps (you have to look for your answer on the Knowledge Base first). Though don't expect that currently with all the grid problems. Fill out a Ticket and LL will get back to you aftr their regularly schedualed chaos. ~Jessy _____________________

I had the exact same issue with getting my 13 year old daughter into the TEEN grid. The main support page staff was zero help, telling me it was because my paypal was probably unverified (it is verified and works fine on my adult account) or that I had to first pay a $9.95 alt fee (which linden no longer even offered! Even if you wanted!) Evertime they gave me a pat regurgitated answer, or repeated one, they would close the ticket as "resolved" which it never was, and after I reopened it a few times, they simply ignored the ticket.
I was eventually able to track down a specific Linden who could help, Teeple @ lindenlab dot com. Teeple was able to step in and get my daughter into the grid in an amazingly fast time. He's my hero! You'll however still need a support ticket filed before he can help, plus one of the names you were unsuccessful in getting thru (they still have it in the system with only the verification to complete on it). You might also have difficulty the next few days as the main Linden staff is struggling with some griefers trying to bring down second life, so probably getting a teen account opened for someone may take the back burner till that is resolved. Still, it will be much faster than just filling a support ticket and waiting for nothing to happen. _____________________

The Support Portal log in is in the yellow box at the bottom center of the support page, NOT with the links in the lefthand blue column, which is what it sounds like you're describing.
