Being Riped Off

Hello Don't know where to go but I have asked the owner 3 times about there rent box not putting up I paid 2 wks advance. I even looked at my account history and it showed I had pay the rent boxed 2 times. And I waited 3 days and either of the landlord is writting me back. I would like my money refunded if they can't correct there error on there renting box cuase seem they dont care about riping people off.

THis is the mall I went to rent a shop 3 days and no word on either of them. HELP

Sadly, there isn't much you can do beyond IMing (or better yet send them a notecard) the owner, because LL won't do anything to help in this case. They do not get involved with these kinds of disputes.

If the owner won't help you, I hate to say this, but you'll have to chalk it up as a learning experience. Besides, do you really want to do business with an individual that isn't going to respond to help requests?

Edit: You may also want to remove the name of the mall from the posts. Just to keep it from being closed/removed.

I learned a few things ago awhile ago about this stuff

-if they say you need to join a group and you can't just join yourself and need an invite chat the owner and get invited before you pay
-if its a new location and you dont know the person at all (some places I rent i know the people and dont worry) and get no response pay 1 week rent max

I have in some cases taken a chance and payed 1 week rent and then asked for the invite but only once actually

I learned awhile back that paying for the discount if no one is online and you can't join the group to put your stuff up is probably a really bad idea. Even if they say you will be invited the moment you pay dont trust it totally. This is what happened to me it was a situation where you payed and would receive an invite. I got no invite for 3 days went back and I found the person running the place to be really quite rude actually. I got my money back but the person was pretty manipulative about the entire thing and made me wait for a certain period of time just to prove who was more umm "stronger" i guess you would say. Since then however I heard a lot of friends who sell similar venue type items get a similar treatment and I slap myself on the forehead that I didn't say anything to them at the time.

Anyhow if its a new or uknown entity to you take no chances speak to the mall owner first if its the last spot or something pay for 1 week rent max if you have to wait for a group invite. That way if you get an owner just giving you a run around for a week and cant actually put anything up for sale your only out 1 weeks worth of rent and will know not to return

ya i got riped off big time cause i went to the place and it no longer there. Nice how people just take your money.
