I was putting the finishing touches to a sky club in a private sandbox when this guy somehow gets in through the walls, which were not set to 'phantom'. Anyway he was persistently chatting and wasn't very knowledgeable but insisted on offering me advice nonetheless. He rezzed some prims in my my building and then tried to sell me a something that was a freebie. I checked his profile and he was a few days old.

Eventually when it was time to go I started clearing my club away as we talked, doing it bit by bit so we still had somewhere to stand. Then I fell off and crashed to the ground. No sooner had I done this than received several angry IM's from this newbie telling me to fly up and remove the remaining prims or he'd report me and get me banned!

He's probably young and doesn't yet have very good social skills. Hopefully three years down the road, he won't be the same way.

Then again, he might be 80 and a hopeless case that everyone avoids like the plague at the family reunion picnics.

Going through walls is easy if you know how. Phantom or not. Walls don't really stop avatars.

As for the threaton AR: Tell him to get a 3rd life. Sandbox=builds. Land set to allow Build is free game unless you do somethign malicious that hurts sim performance. I'd prolly still clean up the prims, but that's only because it's your build. No need to clutter even sandboxes.

Unless he owns the land, he doesn't even have the tiniest leg to stand and b&tch on, so tell him to get bent and learn manners, or just mute his rudeness.

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.

*chuckles, shaking her head* Yeppers, I've seen all types in sandboxes and while on my own land building.

You can always tell the truly experienced builders from the newb or noOB builders, because they are the ones that won't give advice until they've watched you pound your head into the wall for a while. Or you ask them, waiting for them to finish cursing under their breath too at their own project.

Sadly, you don't see many of the experienced builders in sandboxes anymore. Can't say I blame them.

This was a private sandbox with a rule that you clean up after you've finished.

Anyway this guy was selling in the sandbox - also on the list of things not allowed there - and he was selling a freebie, which is also a no-no!!!

I do most builds on a platform above my land but the sky club was too big to build there, so I thought 400 m up in a private (as opposed to Linden) sandbox was relatively safe!
