Has anyone encountered this? In the midst of building, the object I was working with disappeared, and I received a message saying that parcel autoreturn was returning the object to my lost and found because the parcel was full.
Thing is, the parcel wasn't full. Parcel supports 765, and we only had 529 in use. Additionally, because this parcel is part of a group within a sim where I own a lot of property, I still had 1398 total prims available. And yes, I had the correct group activated. And yes, I double checked these numbers in the about land, and checked to be sure no one else was listed as having placed anything.
Anyone know what happened? It was very frustrating, as it was a difficult piece to place, and now I have to start all over with it.

Maybe this is it - I was working in sky at 300 m. If my piece went over the border of my neighbors land while I was dragging it around, maybe that parcel returned it. I just checked, and that parcel is full. Can't tell from the ground that you are dragging a piece around, and it crosses the property line. Does that sound like it might it be? Even though I was working with the piece on my land? I don't think very much of it would have crossed the property line, but who knows, maybe it was enough?

Does the group own the entire sim? Did you lose any of your parts while building? Could something have zipped off of your land and onto non group land?

Thanks for your qucik response, Chris. I think I crossed the property line with a piece. I was at 300m. The neighbor's parcel is full. But I didn't think I was enough over his property, or very long, for that to happen. Maybe so, though. Princess Ivory

Yes, at some point while sliding an object over a parcel border it's considered to be in that parcel. I always put out beacons on the ground when I'm about to do building in the sky. Very helpful for positioning skyboxes, platforms, etc.
