Hi, I notice that objects with alpha textures (plants for example) tend to become invisible when viewed at certain angles in front of certain other textures. Is that a glitch in my graphics board or does everyone experience that?

Thanks -- Dylan

Everyone gets it. An alpha texture in front of another alpha texture leads to some invisibility issues.

It's a long standing glitch in OpenGL, which affects nearly all real time applications, including all video games, and even most professional 3D modeling programs. For more info about it, see the transparency guide, stickied at the top of the texturing forum.
