Can someone please remind me how to turn off the typing sound?

Preferences --> Text Chat tab. Uncheck "Play typing animation".

It will stop you from doing the typing animation when you type, which will also stop you from making the typing sound. It will *not* stop other avatars from doing the animation and playing the sound, however.

Bottom right of screen, to the right of the music button, is a small white upwards arrow. Click on it and it expands into a small pop up menu. You can slide the Sounds and Ambient arrows down. It will also eliminate environment sounds such as birds, waves, windchimes. Also good for tinkering with voice volumes separately from voice users list.

It's there in the 1.22 and beyond, and also in Snowglobe.

mute your sounds in your audio..
added bonus you wont hear those random fart and burp sound spams
