Seem to have misplaced the 60+ position sexbed I had, which is very bad, since I wanted to use the MLP menu and animations as a basis for a new bed I am building.
Now I could just go out and buy one but I know for sooooo sure it was a freebie. Since I dont want to spend money at freebie resellers, does anyone know where to find such a bed in-world?

Have you looked in your lost and found folder in your inventory?
I havent seen any freebie animation beds in SL, just pose beds (thats the first I heard) Anyway there are plenty for sale... I know of a real good 120 animation bed for sale at the landing pad below Heaven in the Clouds...good luck! _____________________

Search on MLP and see if you can find it, had full directions on the location. If you can't find it, IM me in-world about 4:00 SL time and I'll give you the copy I picked up.

Just for the record, it's MLP, not MLB (but then it's not trademarked, so probably nobody will be going to court over the error). It's a nice little open source scripting project... see Miffy Fluffy's profile picks for where to pick up the latest release. The scripts have some limitations, perhaps notably the limit of two simultaneous poseballs. Some folks have already customized MLP a bit--Paul Lobo comes to mind. (Just in passing, nobody could mistake Paul's anims embedded in an MLP bed for a "cheap ripoff" of anything... but nobody's said that, either.) I've noticed a lot of fresh animation talent in-world lately, so... it would be kinda unfortunate to be limited to a single animator. So, anyway, if one already has a bunch of nice couple or single poseball sets from Craig or Paul or elsewhere, one can put the anims into a free MLP base and get the best of both worlds. Although, one might expect to spend a bit of time with a partner, getting the locations just right--which, in fact, may be almost as entertaining as the anims themselves.  Well some shopping worked out after all, for a mere 10 linden I bought back the bed I once had. 2 minutes later (impatient me...) one nice user got me the MLP including the animations I wanted, thanks a million Now I can finish up my bed... soon to be admired in my shop!Greetings, Marcel _____________________

Chances are the version you were looking for was leaked by "lovers playground" and had about 68 or so poses most created by parsalin gullwing. This bed when it got loose permed ruined the market for most and is now a freebie found all over SL.
This bed was not meant as a freebie but unfortunately that is what happened. Shame for LP and a shame for the work Pars put into those anims. Many still are looking for the old MLP created by Miffy Fluffy. If you or anyone is unable to find the base plate for this i have it and will give it out, Just drop me a message or notecard inworld. Should still be able to find it under his profile even though the new version he is making is called xpose. To close if you would like to make or create a bed that can handle more then 2 people, I would suggest a visit to my shop. We have a different version called MLPi but it can handle up to 6 avatars at once and loads quicker then the MLP and can hold more memory and animations. So if you are in the market for an updated bed from 2-6 avies can find my shop off my profile. |

I just wanted to clarify that Lovers PlayGround did not leak anything, especially not a full perms MLP loaded with animations. There was a bug, causing our menu animated items to go full perms temporarily. We caught it, but not before it got out and into the wrong hands. Those menus, specifically the one we spent hundreds of hours making from the original MLP, with all those animations, are involved in DMCAS filed. Unfortunatly, these things happen. If you are any kind of a creator in SL, you know all to well how hard it is to protect your creations. Lovers PlayGround also has the MLPi up to 6 ball version, as well as our own custom made animations. A menu is just a menu, the animations, design of a menu, builds themselves are what make them unique and marketable. Exactly...I ended up making my bed out of some copy/mod sculted pillows I purchased and am happy with it, even though it is poseless. I suppose its rare to find people in SL that want a bed for just one person though. When I first came to SL - in my first apartment - I had a very lovely bed for one person with only three pose balls - a reading animation, relax animation, and sleep animation. It was a very lovely canopy bed - and I really enjoyed it! |
