Does anyone else get files from their C:\documents and settings\username\local settings\temp showing up as viruses? These seem to be related to SL but want to be sure. I have F-Prot Anti-Virus.
Any thoughts?
[EDIT: Here's an example file that comes up 4ed65a9f-4b0d-ec8d-07c2-693a3e6c32c5.tmp]

It should be perfectly safe to delete anything in that TEMP folder.
I seem to have a similar file in mine, along with an EXE file with the SL icon. My guess is that it was used to update the main program, and is no longer needed. I do not know why F-Prot would show it as a virus. You may want to delete the contents of the folder (the folder itself should stay, only the contents go) and then try scanning witrh an alternate AV program such as AVAST or AVG Free edition (both available at MajorGeeks.com)
The TEMP folder is only used shortterm for program setups etc and nothing needed longterm should be there.
Running the basic Accessories: System Tools: Disk Cleanup that comes with Windows should also clean it out for you. Hmm, I think... There are also other utilities that will clean out the variious temporary folders on your system, such as Advanced WindowsCare and others (also at majorgeeks)
