Hi
I have a shop with vendors. in the vendors i have a box with some things in it.
for example:
- bed
- notecard
- vibe
...
people buy this box and can open the box later to copy the stuff into there inventory.
But sometimes i get messages from prople which says that they get a box with the vibe, the card but no bed. so everything is in it but not the bed. Other people buy at this vendor too and the same box but dont have the problem.
Can anybody help me, why sometimes the bed item gets lost ?
I dont believe that a box can lost only one thing..

"Anything is possible in SL," this includes bugs too. I've had something similar happen, but it was a free thing anyways.

Hi Connie  This has happened to me lately a few times. I believe it is another of the famous issues of lag. A few people have had only one piece of the design (clothes) missing and sometimes they didn't recieve anything from the vendor at all when it clearly is in there. I believe it depends on the sim where the vendor is. Some sims are more laggy than others. I ask the customer to give it some time, like a few hours at least because of the delays SL has. And sure enough the item does show up. There has been only one time the customer said it didn't. It can take up to a day and a few logins but usually it finally appears. I dont have a problem giveing the customer another if it does not appear. Its just another one of those things that make you go hmmmm. And I have found nothing surprises me anymore regarding SL's bugs especially with the amount of lag we deal with now. LOL What I am finding difficult is the langauge barrier. Because alot of people.... and there is ALOT who dont read the forums or blog has no knowleadge of the bugs and other issues that goes on in SL so I get... "I buy.. I want" or "I not pay to wear box" And try explaining to them what is going on or what they need to do when they dont speak English. :/ |
