hi guys ,
everytime in SL when i go to search and then select first land it searchs but there is none to buy (i'm a premium user btw)
does anyone know what im doing wrong?

You're not doing anything wrong. First land comes up every now and then. It's not a guarrantee that there will be some listed. Just keep searching so that hopefully some will be released when you are online. Good luck in the search.  |

sorry! Some unscrupolous users have bought all the land up and selling them on at over inflated prices. Linden Labs will be remeding this in the near future.

From: wenkinnoc Ackland Linden Labs will be remeding this in the near future. Do you really think that will happen in the near future? I'm pretty sure that won't happen until Linden Labs gets it's asset server problems fixed first........and at the rate of population growth in SL they can't get ahead of it now! I don't think any new servers will be coming online for SL land until the private land servers are all in place and running at a reasonable level of dependancy.......and that appears to be the main focus of LL at the moment. First land is going to be scarce for a while yet, I'm afraid.  All the servers are grunting pretty heavily under the load as it is..........and the network is huffing even harder!! When the growth slows then maybe LL can catch up........any substanial release of First Land will sometime after that. My guess is that may happen sometime this year.....but I won't hold my breath waiting. |

Ends, First Land pops up at odd times, and when it is offered for sale, it sells out quickly. Keep SL running on your computer, and every 5-10 minutes hit the "search" button again, so you'll be sure to catch it when it does appear. It may take a few days for you to find some.

They have been releasing mainland regions in amongst the grand private island rollout. Just not first land ones, or so it looks.

Here another reason why there's no first land. When LL makes a first land sim of 65536 sq m, they make significantly less money than if they sold that same sim at auction. 65536 sq m of first land is only a couple hundred bucks, but mainland sims are selling at auction for over $3500! The first land program is doomed. Just pay a bit more and get the land you really want, not some scrap of first land (that doesn't even exist)...
