I can't click on stuff... Like, I can't click "Sit" can't click on myself sometimes, other times it works... I can't click on HUDs.... It's really frustrating, anyone got any ideas/suggestions?

Yeah it's only in SecondLife. My mouse works fine elsewhere, I have a wheel mouse. I can't figure it out, sometimes I can click, other times I can't.

Ah, you're using a computer and mouse and you think they're going to work in SL.
Sorry, LL expects us to use completely different technology, technology that hasn't even been invented yet.

Sorry, LL expects us to use completely different technology, technology that hasn't even been invented yet. Lmao... no but seriously. It's not lag related either, some sort of technical issue. I'm getting quite angry. lol It's virtually impossible to build.

On a more serious note, I'm not sure I'd try to build right now. I'm taking a holiday from building until I can be sure I get to keep what I build.

Yeah I doubt I'd build right now even if I could... But it's just the simple fact that I can't that bugs me.

Since downloading the new viewer, this sometimes happens to me. Hovertips are gone in my case - though clicking and "touch" still works. HUDs are also affected and only a relog fixes it for me. I cannot reliably reproduce yet but when I can, I will post on JIRA.

Same issue here, and I know of three other people having the same problem.
In my case, left click seems to work roughly once every 30 to 50 tries. Can't open doors, create objects, operate any menu-based devices, etc.
Left click works fine on menu options.
Yes, Xavier, it's maddening and impossible to build this way.
Since so few seem to be having the same problem, it's probably system based....?
FYI, tried 3 different mice, 3 different versions of SL, updated mouse drivers, rebooted, relogged, hit computer with sledgehammer, tested mouse in audio and video editing programs, various 3d games, etc.....all mice work fine.
Problem is unique to SL.
As a professional trouble-shooter, I'd hate to be the person assigned to resolve this one.
But I'll buy a case o' beer for whoever fixes it.

Interesting.
While trying to create prims, I find that when I try to rez them in the center of the screen, it never works. But going to the far left and right upper quadrants of the screen, it does work.
Consistently.
Same applies less consistently when trying to left click scripted objects.

Ummm...right-click, pie menu, "Touch"? That's what I do when left-clicking won't work.

It used to be that there was a solid connection with the servers or regions..one never got disconnected without the client not telling you so within seconds. Now...that connection is tenuous at best.
The best thing to do is check to see if you have a connection..if your bandwidth indicates 0, you've lost connection.
