Since SL gives you the possibility (on your own land, at least) to watch live streams, i'd be interested to know: do you actually use this feature and if so, what do you watch ? SL-usable links would also be apprechiated.

I didn't do much searching around on the Internet for properly usably live streams myself, so the only one I can offer is:

NASA TV

I've been using Video from this site:

I switch between the horror channel & cartoon channel.

I have an installation at Skegemog (108,80,116)

The floor is a 20mx15m TV screen spread over four prims - playing old black-and-white comedy movies

It ads to the air of unreality in the building. The inside faces of the walls have an 'invisibility' texture. As you move around inside , much or all of the outside world disappears.
No grief, no ads, no ground - but bits flash into view depending on the angles. Not for the fain of heart.

But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

I suppose I'll get it eventually, to keep up with the neighbors. But I won't watch it much. I came to SL to get AWAY from television!
