Ok, my AV was hosed when 1.4 came out so I back revved and things were fine. Now I am forced to update and my AV is hosed and my clothes aren't rezzing. I cleared the cache and re-logged to no avail.
For example, my arms are all angly.
Any clue what is going on or how to fix?

Any clue what is going on or how to fix? Try unchecking the "Vertex Buffer Objects" option in your preverences. I'm not in-world right now, so I can't see the exact setting. But there is something like that which screws up avatar appearance on some video cards. The update probably defaulted to that being on, and you need it off.

Arms are all angly
- Do you mean only the joints or the whole arm? I have been suffering intermittant "angly joints" for quite a while and before the current Client was released.

I get angly joints while not wearing my AO (which is also acting weird since the update). Like my elbows are pointing forward. It's super attractive

Thanks, that was exactly the problem. Thanks.

It's super attractive I don't know if you are from the UK but if you know of "The Woodentops" that is almost what I'm talking about at the joints. Today after buying a new shape/skin my gf had the problem but I didn't. Before her "upgrade" she was fine. My guess is the editing of the body shape (which she won't leave alone) is something to do with it. My own shape is from the default with lots of tweaking. Until I saw this I just put up with the intermitant and slightly puppet like elbows. Some things (usually pose balls or a TP) turn my head backwards. I wonder if we could combine backwards head with backwards elbows. Keep following the thread we might be able to turn everything around and solve that problem
