Hello all, I am working on a project where I have to create a realistic car wreck for a scenario, does anyone know a good place to get cars that I can modify scripts on and just have the full rights to modify in general? Thanks in advanced.

Open your inventory. Look in the Library. Go to the Objects folder.

There is a car there called Cart or Kart. It is a go-kart. it is fully modifyable, scripts and all.

I have messed with that a bit, but considering that this is supposed to be a realistic scenario for a government agency I don't think that they want a bunch of go-karts as their vehicles in the scenario.

There's more government agencies and other professional agencies (like police departments) that are using second life as training tools than you'd think!!

That is more frightening than you'd think!!!!

Anyway, if you cannot modify the fully modifiable Kart and associated scripts as another suggested, then you may be looking for something that somebody would want to be paid fairly well for. I believe you can buy a full perms car script for around 2000L, but I am not positive where I saw that. I think it was the shop for the DT Vendors (Deserted Thoughts?). I can't get on to double check, and my memory fails me on the details. Another free car script is available in the Scripting Library forum here, and you could build your own car around that. But most car makers are making a product to sell, so they would want a great deal more for a full perms product, if they are willing to sell full perms at all.

Go to Yadni's junkyard, and buy all the free vehicle boxes. There are a few realistic vehicles that have full perms on them. You'll have to spend some time separating the wheat from the chaff but all it will cost you is your time (and maybe 3 or 4 L$)

Thanks a million guys, I was messing around with the go karts (and still am, it's a great place to start) but I am doubting that if I show them a demo with go-karts all over the place that they would be too terribly impressed.

Any idea of the coordinates for the junkyard or how to find it?

'Yadni' works under Places, but you need to have the box for Mature regions checked.
