the chat bar used to go away when i hit enter. I want this feature back...is there a way to set this feature back to that option? Its a pain in the ass like IM is I liked the old way better.

Yes, you can. Edit menu > Preferences > Chat tab and check "Close chat after hitting return". Moved to Resident Answers. Please feel free to discuss further.  |

The problem with this setting, however, is that it closes the chat bar *every* time you hit enter, weather there was a message in it or not.
