I have land in Eson and I've recently noticed that a few of the abandoned ad farm plots here have no autoreturn and are full of junk. One even has a sim-scanner plonked down on it which seems to be busily scanning the sim. Not only that but the same person is attempting to sell their sim scanner from a linden land plot. Grrr.
1) How do I get the attention of a Linden to clear up this junk and enable autoreturn?
2) Seeing how I've got a bit of tier left over, how do I find out where and when LL will put these 16m parcels up for sale? I know it's prolly a waste of time and money, but I'm buying up any ad farm plots near me in an attempt to reclaim the sim.

You can try Live Help, ask a Linden to stop by and remove the junk/set autoreturn or no build. Most likely, they will get around to auctioning off the land, or they may have future plans for it (like a roadway). If that's the case, then you're in good shape, because protected land is fairly valuable.

This is from another thread on the same topic a few days ago. Others suggest contacting Support, which is also a good idea. From: Atashi Toshihiko I don't know if this would help but you could try to contact Guy Linden directly. Since the plots are smaller than 512 and since they are adjacent to your land, if you can get ahold of him directly and let him know you're interested in purchasing it, he might be able to help you out, so you don't have to go through an auction process or worry about speculators beating you to it.
