I've never used paypal to take $$ from out of SL... Does anyone have Pro's or Cons of using it... The Fees involved....Sl and Paypal and How long it Takes...on the Sl side and then to your bank Account... This would be a US bank also...and I am in the US... Or is it easier to have SL send a check ? Thanks in advance for any Help Kurt Ludd "The Gesture Maker "

I'm using Paypal to fund my SL habit... I mean my SL account. Your mileage may vary, but I had my Paypal with primary funding from my checking account, with backup from a credit card. Also, I'm in the US, so if outside the US, again, your mileage may vary. When you attach Paypal to SL, you set up what Paypal calls a billing agreement. This, in effect, says that you've authorized SL to request funds from your Paypal account whenever they ask. You don't have to log on to Paypal, authorize it, etc. manually each time. I've only used the feature once, to add funds to my SL account (I'm not a landowner) for spending money. I bought Lindens through the LL website on a Friday evening. Paypal indicated it received the request and processed it the same evening and was going to request funds from my primary source (my checking account). My bank statement indicated that Monday night, funds were withdrawn and transferred to Paypal. So, if you're hoping to float from now until a few days away, be careful. Edited to add: No fees on the Paypal end, since you are sending someone else money. When you buy Lindens, it indicates that the amount shown is approximate due to flulctuations in the Linden Exchange, but it ended up being spot on the same amount, from what I remember (about $9.70 US for 2000 L$).

It's been taking me to get mine transfered as fast as a couple of days last week but as long as 10 to 14 days last month. Maybe they are caught up now.

Now, there is no any 'Paypal ' option in 'Update Payment Method', I do not know why LL remove the paypal option.

May 22, it was in my Paypay account on Fri. May 25. Why would it take 7 or 8 days on Ebay, unless someone is doing an E-Check. Everything I've ever transacted on Ebay is usually very immediate.
