Can somebody explain the following:- I had a plot up for sale and my tier billing date was 6th May. I sold my plot on 6th May early in the day and my tier fee had not been taken when i checked the sale had gone through. Later in the day i again had to check my account and found out that my $15 tier had been taken even though it showed me owning no land. Is it right that if i own land just for part of a day i have to pay??

Your tier bill at the end of the month is based on the peak amount of land you owned during the previous 30 days. From: Ken March Your tier bill at the end of the month is based on the peak amount of land you owned during the previous 30 days. Exactly. It's important to remember that billing programs do not run instantly--in a world as large as Second Life, it's quite feasible that you still owned land when the program ran, but had sold it by the time the program completed and billed your CC. Yes, it would be nice if the billing programs ran instantly, but alas, they don't. I would suggest contacting Billing and seeing if it's possible to get your money refunded, especially if you're somewhere you can use the toll free numbers. Kam

transfer land to alt

what if I wanted to transfer my land to an alt. Then I would pay the tier fee twice. There should be a way to transfer land to an alt w/o incuring tier fees for the same land and month twice...
