Hi everyone,
I'm a newbie and love dancing at The Edge and Faces Nightclubs. I noticed that many people have above their names Edge/Faces VIP or Member. Can someone tell me how I become a member of my favourite nightclubs? Thanks for your help.

Natasha Just ask the owner or manager! They are more than willing to add more members, and if you go regularly will give you VIP status, bu the benefits of this vary with different clubs, and some give VIP status right from the start. If you are not sure who the Owner is then just do a search for the group and it will tell you there. Rock |

By and large, "VIP" is a badge of shame in SL. Anyone with a VIP group tag is usually just showing themselves up as an easy mark.

they all seem jsut like they are a regular groups for eveyone to join

I'm a dancer at the Edge and we use the VIP tags for our camping chairs. When you're there, just ask the host for a tag.

they all seem jsut like they are a regular groups for eveyone to join They allow you to be spamed for events , etc. Unless you want to go to these events - they are useless. Usually people try to force the tag on you where ever you go. |

The other thing the tags do is provide free advertising for the club. A newbie with a "VIP" tag frequently won't figure out to take it off for weeks or even months - thus is a dead giveaway to their being a newb. So, not only do you get spammed for events, you are providing advertising for the club as you wander around SL.
